Traditionally, in role-playing games, especially in the fantasy style, you usually have to deal with killing monsters, clearing dungeons and other heroics. There's nothing wrong with that, of course, but The Age of Decadence offers an alternative approach to resolving issues. To quote one of the reviews: "If you want a hardcore heavy metal RPG, this is your choice. All others can pass by. This game is unforgiving in every sense - both in terms of morality and in its ruthlessness towards the player. If you If you want to be a knight in shining armor, try your luck somewhere else."
The emphasis in this game is not on killing monsters, but on complex relationships with other people and factions in a desperate attempt to survive and become a human being. Naturally, to achieve this goal, the developers have prepared the most sophisticated means for players - from non-linear dialogues to entire story tracks, which you have to choose between. In the end, only you and your actions determine the circle of friends and enemies, and there are no clear-cut heroes here at all.

An interesting world with a rich history and an unclear future that can end in 7 different endings depending on your decisions.
Detailed crafting and alchemy system: melt items and create new ones, balance your sword, experiment with Greek fire, poisons, black powder, melt locks with acid.
Hundreds of items, from weapons and armor to scrolls, tools, flasks and pre-war relics.
The three-dimensional world, created on the Torque Game Engine, provides the player with well-developed locations and about 200 unique animations.
