Navigate dangerous ships carefully, search for supplies and manage defense systems. React to changes in the situation: will you go around to the generator to restore power, or make your way to the security module to disable the ship's protection? Thoughtfully determine the moments when it is worth fighting, when it is better to fight, and when it is better to become a bastard.
Use your hard-won supplies to craft homemade weapons and tools. Craft everything from distracting robot cats to horribly unstable cluster bombs.
Pilot a tiny boat in the vastness of the nebula. Run away from void whales and pirates, respectfully avoid hungry hermits and don't forget to look for food, fuel and other resources necessary for survival.
Void Bastards features a 12-15 hour campaign that can be completed with an endless supply of prisoners, each with their own special traits. If one dies, no big deal, just prepare the other. Don't worry, all created things will remain and serve the successor.
